while all that was drying I printed out some bird houses onto watercolour paper and stamped some quirky birds I painted these with a combinations of Lindy's magical's and Dylusions spray inks in bright colours, I did a bit of doodling for interest. I adhered them onto the pages, added some stamping to represent the hanging chains, then stamped the sentiment, home is where the happy is. Finally I went around with a charcoal pencil to give a bit of shadow

Home is a happy place
I started out by smooshing distress oxide over the pages, then did a few splashes with the distress oxide sprays just for a little more depth. I did a bit of stamping to give more texture. Then I stenciled on the bottom and sides with modelling paste hoping some of the colour would seep through for a bit of interest
