Round 6- Debs March entry in Janie's Exotic Journal

I have to be honest, I started out with this double layout envisioning Moroccan pottery madness in blues and yellows which I happen to think of as very exotic and magical but...ended up worlds away from it.
Anyway...Elephants to me are exotic and majestic creatures so they walked right into this entry. I sponged lots of acrylic paint for my background. I then stenciled a Moroccan pattern with Patina texture pastes in aqua and blue and sponged bronze over the top once it dried.
I then used some paint and elephant foam stamps I had from Natalie Kalbach and Stampendous to get my images down. I outlined in Dylusions paint pen and metallic Sharpies. I used Tim Holtz Ranger stickers to complete the layout to read "Those who don't believe in magic will never find it, stay curious".
Apologies for the blurry picture, I had camera issues.
Until next time, happy journalling everyone!

  1. thank you so much Deb, elephants are very exotic; they live in lands far from Australia. I can hardly wait to see these ellies in real time 💖
