This is my first time entering a journal swap. I'm really looking forward to this experience. It is such an honour to work in all the journals & I'm thrilled that I will see everyone's work in mine.
I enjoyed putting the journal together. I covered a Manila folder with fabric, inside & out &
re-enforced the spine with an extra piece of thick board.I stitched pockets inside the front & back of the cover. Two signatures of 3 pages were added with ribbon tied around the spine & knotted on the outside. A few beads from my very limited supply were tied on the ends. The pages can be removed to work on.
Inside the front pocket are some tags for the girls to keep. Maybe they could replace it with a tag for me. A gelli print was used for the contract & round order. I stamped some wingy things on this.
For my title page I did a painted & stamped background & covered it with a picture of butterflys, that I absolutely adore.
My spread has a small flap.
I loved this picture of the mouse, which I found on pinterest, & knew I had to use it.
The back pages.
